MO SCHOLARS PROGRAM 2026/27 | FULLY FUNDED UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN TANZANIA
The Mo Dewji Foundation is inviting applications for the 2026/27 Mo Scholars Program, a higher education scholarship opportunity designed to support talented, ambitious and financially disadvantaged Tanzanian youth pursuing undergraduate studies.
The Mo Scholars Program aims to remove financial barriers to higher education while equipping young people with mentorship, leadership skills, professional development and opportunities for community engagement.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
• Be a Tanzanian citizen.
• Be aged between 18 and 25 years.
• Have attained Division I at A-Level or a minimum GPA of 4.0 for Diploma holders.
• Be applying to join the first year of an undergraduate degree programme.
• Have secured admission to a recognized higher learning institution.
• Demonstrate proven financial need.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to community service.
• Show a genuine commitment to giving back to the community.
FIELDS OF STUDY
The Mo Scholars Program supports students pursuing undergraduate studies across different fields of study.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants should prepare the following documents:
• Completed online scholarship application form.
• Academic certificates and transcripts, including O-Level, A-Level and Diploma certificates where applicable.
• Admission letter from a recognized higher learning institution.
• Proof of Tanzanian citizenship, such as NIDA details or Birth Certificate.
• Documentation demonstrating financial need, where applicable.
• Recent passport-size photograph.

The Mo Scholars Program is highly competitive. Selection considers factors including academic performance, financial need, leadership potential and commitment to community service. Applicants may be required to undergo further screening, interviews and reference checks.
The scholarship is intended for Tanzanian students joining their first year of undergraduate studies. Successful scholars are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance and participate in the Foundation’s engagement and community-service activities throughout the scholarship period.
The Mo Scholars Program has been supporting young Tanzanians since 2016 by providing access to higher education together with mentorship, leadership development and career preparation. The program has awarded hundreds of scholarships and works with higher learning institutions across Tanzania.
